Jen Crossley's Class
Well yesterday was an absolute scorcher the temperature soared to the high 40's, with raging bush fires and unfortunate deaths and during all this horror, in my air conditioned house I hosted a class for Jen in Metal Etching. I and the others here had no idea that the fires were out of control all over Victoria.
We had a fabulous time with lots of lollies, laughter, drinks(soft), innuendo(we had to be careful as Jo's 15 year old daughter was around) and most of all creating.
Jen is a wonderful teacher and is very generous with her knowledge and the kits that she supplied.
My husband Peter is not so happy as there was a few holes drilled into our dining room table, but these things happen. He also helped me figure out how to work the dremmel this morning, so next time I will be able to use it to cut of the excess metal. Check out the Jen's, Liz'z and Teresa's blogs for more photo's and info.

Arty-Oz House Swap

My latest page for the ongoing swap with Arty-Oz, I'm sure the person that this page belongs to will know its for her, but I'm not mentioning any names yet, I just hope she likes it. It was made with an old lace doiley, that I couldn't bring myself to cut, so I wrapped it around the page onto the back as well.
I love the austere look of the bride compared to all the lace.

Entry for Inkurable Stampers

Here is my entry for this months comp. I have made the flower with the scalloped nestibilities circle and then used a flower punch, which I cut up and placed at the back of the circles to make petals, I then used my sewing machine and stiched around the centre circle. The numbers are grungeboard that are painted, stamped with birthday sentiments and then dimensinal magic over the top. I also stitched the background paper and stamped the happy birthday onto another piece of card which I backed and once again cut up a smaller punched flower to make scallops along the bottom edge.
You can see all the wonderful entries in the competition Here

Recently I have been working on the pages for a swap with Arty-Oz which was due to go to my partner today, I'm not sure if she has got it yet so I won't say whom it was for. But I had a great deal of fun creating it and using a Zutter for the 1st time(thanks to Greta)PS Sorry about showing June twice, but couldn't figure out how to get it off.
