Online Drawing Class

I am currently doing an online class with the fabulous Jane Davenport and I have learnt so much from her and the above are some of my drawings done over the last few months. I went from saying I can't draw to now thinking I can and will LOL

Ellie May Update

Our New Baby

Our new baby Ellie May with my other baby Tristan(he doesn't read my blog)LOL. The puppy is a cross with a Border Collie and a Springer Spaniel she is 7 weeks old and she is so beautiful.

Apron Swap 2011

My finished apron for a swap that I was in, organised by Linda Baldock in a Facebook Group. The birds were applicated and the branch and words were in fabric texta's. I have already sent the apron to my partner and she said she was thrilled with the result.

This is the card I made for another girlfriends beautiful daughter Nicole, she is the same age as my son Tristan and they went through school together in a lot of classes.

Back Again

I thought I had better try and show you all some of the work that I have been doing over the last few months , I have been very neglectful in attending to my blog.

This first piece of work was for a very good friends youngest daughter Sarah's 18th birthday,hard to believe this that I saw this beautiful young lady in hospital when she was born and look at her now.

Helens Birthday Pressies

I saw in local gift shop this idea, they had butterflies all over a canvas and were charging a fortune and I thought to myself, I can do that, but better, I went home and using Collection tiles covered them all in Collection papers, then with Tim Holtz new stamp and stazon, stamped the tiles and then onto acetate stamped them again and cut out. I bent the wings up and put just a little glue in the middle with some bling on the feelersand they were done.
Close up of the wings, sorry about the poor quality of the photo, but I had already put in the frame under glass and it was reflecting back.
