Birthday Card Making Day

Today was the day I had to make some birthday cards as time was running out, the top one is for friend whose birthday is tomorrow, the 2ND one for Emma, her birthday is on the 3rd and the last one for Tony is on the 4Th when the big party is on. Sorry about the scan of Emma's, but the birds are so thick they scan well but nothing else does.

I will be sending Deb her book tomorrow as I'm the last to work in it, I hope she will be thrilled when it arrives home safely. Her theme as you can see is Angels and I just love these 2 images sorry about the flare on the 1st close up but you can still see how beautiful those angels are.

House Swap

As per the last post the first picture is my front cover for my house book called Vintage Men.
The next house is from Karen Sutherland, which is the first page that I have received in the swap and is terrific, with lots of layers and textures and embellishments, thanks Karen its fabulous

House Swap

I am in a House swap with 19 other women and over the next 10 months we will be doing 2 houses per month and sending them to the individuals. This my first effort, it is for Nikki and her theme was the Glass House, even though I didn't use any glass I took her meaning for windows so this is the way I choose to go. She also said that she would like openings and transparencies with word art and whimsical so I hope I have covered those bases at least.

Fathers Day

This card is for DH's dad who lives in Newcastle and has been sent on its merry way.
This card is for my darling DH, the stamps used for both cards were from the Oxford Impressions Family Man Plate, which I have just recently purchased and love the images.

Lunch at Mentone Pub

This was on the 26th of August our group of Crafty Mums got together for a multiple birthday celebration it was Jen Kelly's, Joanne Hughes and Mine all of whom have birthdays in August.

My birthday celebrations on the 28th of August at Vincents Cafe in Beaumaris



The most amazing old tree we came across at Hanging Rock Winery in Macedon where Peter and I went for the weekend for a birthday treat for me, we had a wonderful time on the Friday I had a facial and on the Saturday Peter and I had 60 min Massages it was heaven.
